Director Bill Sugden: North Island Student Union ( 2019-2020 )
Bill has always wanted to help others by supporting and fighting for union causes, believing that he could make a meaningful difference. In 2018, Bill served as a student representative, and in 2019 he was elected Courtenay campus Director. Bill was honored to take on this role and work on behalf of his fellow students at North Island College, advocating for a safe, accessible, and supportive learning environment for everyone.
Throughout his journey, Bill has remained mindful of the opportunities he has been given to improve his education at NIC and continues to fight for the same opportunities and accessibility for all students. Bill truly believes that you are never too old to learn and that education should be open and accessible to everyone. 🎓
